Flopsy Face Wash Jelly by Lush

I’m going to start off by admitting that I bought this face wash strictly due to the fact that it came in the shape of a bunny mask. It reminded me a bit of the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s (the Halloween mask scene), plus who doesn’t want a more playful way to do your daily skin care routine?

Since I bought it based on looks alone, I was fully prepared to be underwhelmed with its performance but I couldn’t have been more wrong.

The smell alone is enough to put you in a good mood. Citrus and floral notes seem to embody the newness and freshness of spring itself. I could smell this stuff all day.
Then there’s the ease of use. At first I felt unsure of how to use this stuff, but quickly realized I was seriously overthinking it. Just break off a quarter-or-so sized piece, wet it, rub it between your hands and a you’ve got a gentle, milky lather ready to go.

Finally, I’m always appreciating gently facial products as my skin is a little more on the dry and sensitive side, and I found this cleanser to be surprisingly gentle. Granted, if you have allergies or sensitivities to perfumes I might avoid this product if I were you, but if you’re just looking for a smooth touch with a refreshing experience the Flopsy face wash jelly is up your alley.

It’s only around for a limited time as it’s been especially made for the Easter season. But never fear if you’ve missed out on purchasing it this round. I wouldn’t be surprised if this cleanser came back next year by popular demand.

Tip: Suds will be subtle as this cleanser is more gentle. Once a milky lather appears with a few bubbles it is ready for use.
