Last Week in Harajuku: Costumes Can be Clothes too

I adore the fact that you can’t always tell if peeps in Harajuku are cosplaying or wearing their legit wardrobe. But I think that is the point. I think they are one and the same sometimes. Our culture is trying to push for more open-mindedness so that people may truly be whomever they want to be. So, I say that should apply to fashion too. Dress how you want to dress, k? It’s just clothes! The person wearing them is what matters most. And I vote you dressing up as costume-y or not costume-y as you freaking want!
